*WE ARE RECRUITING*
WE ARE RECRUITING. Send in an app, and we will consider it. At one point, our roster was really full, so I (CharlieBrown101) decided to create a Waitlist. If you apply and the roster is full, you will be submitted to this waitlist and be voted into or rejected out of the clan as soon as an opening arises. Players will remain on the waitlist for a week, but this time can be extended if you are still interested in joining. If you feel like you want to join a clan to have some fun and play some Annihilation, please go ahead and apply, regardless of roster size.
Current Players On Waitlist: 0
Chat with us on TeamSpeak!
Clan Fireborn recently received a Channel on SiglerSpeak, so feel free to hang out with us on our public channel "Clan Fireborn - Public". The Server Address for SiglerSpeak is 52.10.123.55 If you are in the clan, you will also be given the password to the private channels which we will use for our battles and standard gameplay.
Clan FireBorn is a U.S. Annihilation based Clan whose objective is to play Annihilation enjoyably, effectively, and like pros. Our preferred map is Coastal, and that is where we get most of our recruits. We love to play annihilation, but there are always the teammates who will steal loot, steal items while you're changing class, and other ***-hole stuff like that. We're here to provide a team that gives that loot back, holds your stuff safe while you change class, and punish those ***-holes that annoy our family! With that in mind, these are the requirements to join the clan.
Requirements
Other than those requirements, anyone can join! On a separate note, relating to playing Anni effectively, we have different groups of jobs for the players. These jobs are the most essential jobs for a successful team and there are plenty of background jobs as well, but these are the basics.
Jobs
Requirements
- You must be able to make at least three games a week, or notify if you are unavailable.
- You must be able to share your e-mail or junk e-mail so we may contact you for clan based activities. We do not disclose your information to anyone, including other clan-mates, without your permission.
- You must NEVER Team-Grief
- You must NEVER cuss over Skype or TeamSpeak. (There are younger people in the clan, and many of us play around our families too.)
- You must follow the rules set down by Shotbow (No hacking, no public humiliation, etc)
- You must not trash-talk, brag, or show disrespect for other clans, teams, or players.
- You must have Skype and TeamSpeak or get them. You do not have to speak, if you are embarrassed about your age or voice you may mute yourself or your microphone. However you must be able to take part in the chat room at least in text. This will help us coordinate during games as well as before/after.
- Have a recording software, this is to better report hackers we come across, and also create Clan Montages. This is not a requirement, but it would be nice if you have it. Don't bother to get it if you do not already have one.

Jobs
- The JumpStarters: These are the seasoned Anni players with miner who join at the very start and rush for the iron mines. These troops get geared as fast as possible and enchant their equipment for better combat. Once they're ready, usually around mid phase 2, they change class, and head out to mid, securing our position and retaining extra iron gear in midchests.
- The Rushers: These are similar to JumpStarters, but they also want to get gold, upping their enchants and getting potions for a phase 4 or 5 rush. Their best goal is to get either an extremely powerful bow, a + 9.5 Attack Damage sword (Sharp 3 Iron or Sharp 2 Diamond), or a godpick. A + 9.5 attack damage sword can slice instant-kills through leather armor with strength 2, so this is their ideal weapon, as their whole purpose is to destroy the enemies' nexuses.
- The Defenders: This is one of the most important roles in Annihilation. These people are the dedicated Lumberjacks or Spys who go out and break the bridges and build up wool/dirt cross defenses to keep our team alive. Then they get gear, hopefully supplied by successful JumpStarters or Skirmishers and vanish with bows ready aimed at the entrance. These troops have incredible patience and are most owed as team members.
- The Skirmishers: This is probably the uncontested favorite. Skirmishers tend to join end of phase 1 or beginning of phase 2 and head to mid with their Scorpio, Warrior, Bloodmage, Transporter, Scout or Acrobat classes and get ready to destroy the enemy teams for gear and glory. These work best in groups, so long as they keep the loot fair and don't split the armor up. In addition to destroying the enemy's position at mid, they can obliterate them economically, springing ambushes on enemy Iron mines, Redstone mines, and Gold mines as Scout, then getting away with their grapples and speed. This will cripple their rushes, as they will lack the power and regeneration. In addition to that, it will make them easier to rush, for they have less defense because they are worried about getting gear, while we're using theirs to crush them!
Clan Fireborn Going Republican. (Sort of)
Note: This was originally an e-mail, sent on March 23rd 2015
This is for you, Aaron. -_-
Alright, here it is. A whole bunch of people in the clan have been complaining about stuff they want to change, Afk members, lack of activity, and whatnot, so here's your chance to do something about it.
From now on, the Clan will vote on anything important to the clan, such as applications (I'll Copy and paste some of their responses for you to look at), kicking AFK members, punishments for microphone spamming, or whatever else comes up that we feel like voting on. Here's a short breakdown on the system.
Note: These are guidelines, not rules written in stone, and are subject to change at any time or whim I may have. If you have a problem with that, I'll put on sunglasses and you will just have to deal with it.
Ranks and Voting:
Ranks will directly determine how your votes will be counted. The higher rank you are, the more say you have in each matter. I have now included voting value on the ranks page, so check there for your own power over the system. Obviously, I have the most worth in votes, and can easily turn the tide of most votes, so I will try to abstain from most votes to try and keep the clan even.
Applications:
I will take each application we get (excluding troll ones) and copy and paste some sections of the application into our voting system (so far undecided, but will probably be via e-mail for verification purposes). Then, we will vote on whether we should accept that applicant into the clan or not. The information given will probably include the following:
Kicking Members:
Okay, Here comes the whopper. We're going to start the ability to kick members from the clan. First, someone with high enough rank to do so, as given in the ranks page (Colonel+), tells me he wants to kick [person] from the clan. We hold a vote, and the ranks and taken into account and everything. The person being kicked can vote as well, and defend himself, but only if he is online. If you want to start a vote against me, go ahead, but good luck having me host a vote to kick myself.
Punishments:
Basically same guidelines as the "Kicking Members" section. Cruel and unusual punishments are not allowed, unless they're unusually amusing.
Promotions:
More along the lines of the "Applications" section. If I feel someone should be promoted, I'll put it up to a vote, and provide whatever the player submitted as a promotion application (if any).
Edit: Clan Republic system is changing a little. Instead of voting on every application and delaying the response to their app by 3 days or so, I'll handle the applications as I have been already. The only time we will vote on apps is when there are only 2 slots left in the roster. (Linx's Suggestion.)
More coming soon, again, this is subject to change and I welcome feedback
and positive and constructive criticism. Thank's for bearing with me.
